We confess these truths with Christians across many church traditions. Scripture is our final written authority, and this statement summarizes the doctrines that define and direct our work. It is not intended to replace the fuller confession or oversight of a local church.

The Holy Scriptures
We believe the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments are breathed out by God, wholly trustworthy in all they affirm, and the final written authority for faith and life. Scripture is clear in everything necessary for salvation, sufficient to make God’s people mature, and must govern every doctrine, lesson, and application. Human notes can help readers, but they never share Scripture’s authority.

The Triune God
We believe there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each person is fully God, equal in divine glory and worthy of the same worship, while God remains one. He is holy, loving, just, wise, sovereign, and faithful. He created all things from nothing and continually sustains and rules His creation.

Humanity, the Image of God, and Sin
We believe every person is created in the image of God and therefore possesses inherent dignity and worth. Humanity was made to know God, reflect His character, cultivate His world, and love one another. Through Adam’s rebellion, sin and death entered human experience. All people are sinners by nature and choice, alienated from God, unable to rescue themselves, and in need of His mercy.

Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, truly God and truly human. Conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, He lived without sin, proclaimed the kingdom of God, and willingly died on the cross as the once-for-all sacrifice for sinners. He rose bodily from the grave, ascended to the Father’s right hand, reigns as Lord, intercedes for His people, and will return personally and visibly in glory.

The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is fully divine and personal. He inspired the Scriptures, glorifies Christ, convicts the world concerning sin, gives new birth, unites believers to Christ, indwells them, produces holy fruit, distributes gifts for service, and empowers the church for faithful witness. He illumines Scripture, never contradicting the Word He inspired.

Salvation by Grace
We believe salvation is God’s gracious gift, accomplished by Jesus Christ and received through repentance and faith in Him, not earned by human merit or religious works. In Christ, believers are forgiven, declared righteous, adopted into God’s family, made alive by the Spirit, and progressively transformed into Christ’s likeness. Good works are the fruit of salvation, never its price.

The Church and Its Mission
We believe the universal church is the body and bride of Christ, composed of all who belong to Him by faith. Believers are called to gather in local churches for worship, prayer, teaching, fellowship, baptism, the Lord’s Supper, mutual care, and accountable discipleship. Christ sends His church to proclaim the gospel, make disciples of all nations, pursue holiness and justice, practice mercy, and bear faithful witness in the world.

Resurrection and Eternal Hope
We believe Jesus Christ will return to judge the living and the dead. There will be a bodily resurrection, final judgment, eternal life with God for those who are in Christ, and final condemnation for those who remain opposed to Him. God will make all things new, and His redeemed people will dwell with Him in the new heavens and new earth, where righteousness, worship, and joy endure forever.

Truth, Humility, and Christian Charity
We seek unity in the essential truths of the gospel, thoughtful liberty where faithful Christians reach different conclusions, and love in every discussion. We will identify significant interpretive differences honestly, refuse to treat speculation as certainty, and remain accountable to Scripture and the church. Our purpose is not to replace a local congregation, but to help people read God’s Word more carefully within one.
